“Pre-voting” mechanism
Let us introduce you to “pre-voting”!
This morning we launched the “pre-vote” compatible ballots for public consultations.
The approach is very simple: via social networks like twitter or instagram it is always tedious to connect to your account before voting via a web browser.
Let’s take a public vote available on twitter :
The potential participant may not have a Civicpower account (yes, that still exists!).
The user will then be able to vote immediately upon arriving on the consultation:
When validating the vote, the user must log in or create an account:
before his account is validated and taken into consideration in the ballot.
On the organizer’s side, checking the box “Everyone can participate in this consultation” will automatically activate the mechanism. To deactivate it, you will have to check the box “Only authenticated users can vote”.

Nous avons lancé ce matin les scrutins compatibles “pré-vote” pour les consultations publiques.
La démarche est très simple : via les réseaux sociaux comme twitter ou instagram il est toujours fastidieux de se connecter à son compte avant de voter via un navigateur Internet.
Prenons un vote public disponible sur twitter :
Le participant potentiel n’a peut être pas de compte Civicpower (oui cela existe encore !).
L’utilisateur·trice en arrivant sur la consultation pourra alors voter immédiatement :
Lors de la validation du vote l’utilisateur·trice devra alors se connecter ou créer son compte :
avant que son compte soit bien validé et pris en compte dans le scrutin.
Du côté de l’organisateur d’une consultation, cocher la case “Tout le monde peut participer à cette consultation” activera automatiquement le mécanisme. Pour le désactiver, il suffira de cocher la case “Seuls les utilisateurs authentifiés peuvent voter”.
